About EV-HooK

We have been seeking simple and user-friendly solutions to resolve the too many process that current charging systems face.

EV-HooK is not a "charger" itself, but an independent billing service (Patent No. 7606064, etc.) that can be connected to existing or new installed chargers. It supports major charging standards such as J1772 and CHAdeMO, enabling new revenue generation by controlling charging plugs.

Our goal is to provide an experience free from charging issues. Like unobtrusive pet leash hooks on street corners. We aim to create a simple charging experience without interfering with users' primary purposes such as travel or facility use.

How To Charge

Zero Wasted Trips with Reliable Charging Spots

EV-HooK adopts a "connection time (occupancy time)" billing system. By accurately grasping in real-time actual availability for use, it prevents wasted trips to charging spots.

Particularly in multi-story parking garages, it eliminates the stress of finding chargers unusable after entering and incurring parking fees. When displayed as "available," you can be certain it will actually be usable.

Even after full charge (power cutoff), the system accurately displays the status until the vehicle moves creating a charging environment that is considerate to other EV users. By obtaining accurate information in advance, the planning for EV use is greatly improved.

OCPPAP Realizing Patented Billing Service "EV-HooK"

EV-HooK accurately grasps the "true usage status of chargers" that was impossible with existing charging systems, through "OCPPAP" which extends "OCPP."

The mechanism that can remotely confirm not only "power supply information" but also "whether actually available for use" further improves the convenience of OCPP-chargers while achieving reduced communication costs.

Discover the City While Charging

PLUG & PLATE

An experimental project that transforms charging wait time into local experiences. Through editor-curated local information displayed on EV-HooK's screen, this initiative aims to help users discover the real charm of the city, away from operating various displays inside the vehicle.

Reinterpreting the concept of the tire manufacturer's gourmet guide born in 1900 for today's world, it creates a virtuous cycle of "visit shops → stay longer → increase overall regional revenue." Service launch scheduled for May 2025.

Innovation Born in Fukuoka

"FUK-NATIVE tech" Initiative

A new technology development approach originating from Fukuoka, independent of existing frameworks. Rather than being led by major corporations or big cities, we bring together unique ideas and technical capabilities born from free perspectives to provide new value to society. This is an inter-company collaboration framework aiming for remarkable value creation that manages everything in-house from the idea stage to implementation, with EV-HooK attracting attention as its flagship project.

Transforming All Charging Equipment from Facility "Hassle" to "Value"

We believe EV charging equipment can become better facilities that further enhance the value of venues. We aim to contribute to building charging infrastructure that eliminates complex procedures and does not interfere with the original experience.

  • Broad support for major domestic standards (J1772/CHAdeMO)
  • Support for proper charging speeds and billing systems tailored to facility characteristics
  • Assistance with monetizing and creating value from idle charging equipment
